Volunteering for all report is now available to read!

We are proud to announce that Healthwatch Calderdale has released the Volunteering for all report. This was in partnership with Calderdale Cares Partnership and Accessible Calderdale hosted by Visits Unlimited. Disabled people have told us that they experience loneliness, isolation and feel they have little purpose and do not feel valued for their contributions. We wanted to work with disabled people to improve this situation. We listened to the views of disabled people in the local community and organisations to find out what works for them in terms of volunteering, and what the barriers are. We also wanted to look at what improvements could be made to volunteering opportunities.
