Our Engagement Team Give Out Winter Care Packs in Halifax

Last week, our Engagement and Information Officers, Alexandra and Joanne, gave out winter care packs around Halifax town centre. In collaboration with the Calderdale Voluntary and Community (CVAC). They gave out 18 packs to homeless and vulnerable adults.

The winter care packs contained blankets, gloves, flasks, soup, tea bags and information about services that can offer support.

Also, Alexandra has been out distributing Winter Care Packages in partnership with Rosemary from CVAC, at Christ Church in Halifax.  She delivered packs to their soup club. The packs, supplied by Calderdale’s Voluntary & Community Sector, were also distributed to church and community warm zones. They also gave some to people who told us they were experiencing difficulties this winter due to the cost of living.

A total of 50 packs have been given out around Calderdale.
